KARL Darlow says he wants to help Leeds United get back to the Premier League as quickly as possible after the goalkeeper's Newcastle United exit was confirmed.
Darlow has joined the Championship side on a three-year deal for a fee believed to be in the region of £400,000.
The move brings to an end his nine-year association with the Magpies.
"I'm delighted to be here and can't wait to get started," said the 32-year-old after his Leeds switch was confirmed.
"The new owners are ambitious, the manager has a track record in this league and is someone I'd been keen to work with and seeing the quality and strength of the squad that we have is something that really excites me.
"I want to help this club get back to the Premier League as quickly as possible."

Darlow made 100 appearances for Newcastle during his time at St James' Park, including 34 appearances in the Championship-winning 2016/17 season.
He'll soon be followed through the exit door by Allan Saint-Maximin.
The winger's move to Al-Ahli has not yet been confirmed by the clubs but the 26-year-old posted an emotional farewell on social media on Saturday.
There'll be more Newcastle exits in the coming weeks. Garang Kuol has held talks with Dutch Eredivisie team FC Volendam and Swansea City are showing an interest in Harrison Ashby.
