SUNDERLAND have rejected a fresh bid from Burnley for Jack Clarke, but the winger’s future at the Stadium of Light remains uncertain.
The latest bid is understood to have been in the region of £10m plus add-ons, but falls short of Sunderland’s valuation.
Although Clarke loves it at Sunderland, the 22-year-old is believed to be keen on another opportunity to play in the Premier League, and has made that known to club bosses.

Clarke joined Sunderland for around £750,000 12 months ago and the winger is understood to have made known his wishes back then to play in the Premier League if the opportunity presented itself.
Although Burnley’s latest bid has been knocked back, the Clarets remain interested in signing the former Tottenham winger.
Clarke topped the Championship assists chart last season and was identified as a leading target for Vincent Kompany as Burnley plan for their first season back in the top-flight.
