NEWCASTLE FALCONS will kick off the new Gallagher Premiership season away to Bath on Saturday, October 14 (3pm) after the fixtures for the 2023-24 campaign were announced.
The club’s first home game of the new season will see Gloucester visit Kingston Park on Friday, October 20, with the 6pm kick-off time reflecting the fact that a Rugby World Cup semi-final will take place later on the same evening.
Premiership fixtures to the first weekend in January, when Falcons will host Harlequins on Friday, January 5, have been announced with confirmed dates and kick-off times, with matches from that point onwards assigned a weekend spot ahead of television selections from TNT Sports, the new name for BT Sport who continue to hold the Premiership rights.
The TNT Sports cameras will be at Kingston Park for the first time on Sunday, October 29, when Falcons host Northampton Saints, with reigning champions Saracens visiting Tyneside on Sunday, November 12.
The festive season sees Bristol Bears visit Falcons on Friday, December 22, with Falcons heading to Saracens on December 30. The first Premiership game of 2024 seeing Harlequins head to the North-East on Friday, January 5.
Leicester Tigers are the visitors to Kingston Park over Easter weekend, with Falcons’ final home game of the regular campaign pitting them against Bath on the weekend of May 10-12. The season then ends with a trip to Gloucester over the weekend of May 17-19.
