LEYTON Orient are delighted to land their "number one target" in Sol Brynn, with the League One newcomers having long courted the Middlesbrough goalkeeper.
Brynn completed his season-long loan switch to Orient on Monday evening and has linked up with his new teammates in Marbella.
The 22-year-old signed a new contract with Boro earlier this summer but his loan move was given the green light after the arrival of Tom Glover and Seny Dieng last week.
Brynn impressed at Swindon in League Two last season so the logical next step was a season in the third tier - prompting Orient, who watched Brynn closely last term, to pounce.
"We're delighted that we've got Sol in," said the club's goalkeeping coach Simon Royce.
"We've been chasing him for a while, and for him to want to come to us speaks volumes about what we're doing here.
"He had a fantastic season last year with Swindon, who didn't have the best year themselves. Sol's stats were at the top end of the division for goalkeepers, and he was always our number one target.
"Sol's had a good ten days training with his parent club Middlesbrough down in Portugal, so he's fit and ready and we can't wait to see him in action."

After a fine campaign with Swindon, Brynn is now looking to kick on again.
He said: "I'm delighted to be here, it's been a long time coming and I'm buzzing it's finally completed.
"I played against Orient twice last year and they were unbelievable, I wanted to be a part of it.
"I'm always looking to test myself. I'm a shot-stopper and love making saves. I've heard a lot about Roycey and how good of a goalkeeping coach and a bloke that he is, and the gaffer's record speaks for himself."
