MIDDLESBROUGH's signing spree continues, with goalkeeper Seny Dieng completing his move from Queens Park Rangers.

The 28-year-old has joined for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year-deal and has already linked up with his new teammates in Portugal.

Dieng joins Tom Glover through the door in strengthening the Boro keeper department, with Sol Brynn now set to wrap up his season-long loan move to Leyton Orient.

Dieng arrives with plenty of Championship experience having played more than 100 times for QPR since joining from MSV Duisburg in 2016.

He's played five times for Senegal, winning the African Cup of Nations in 2021. He was also named QPR's Player of the Year that season.

Dieng follows in the footsteps of Alex Gilbert, Rav van den Berg, Sammy Silvera, Morgan Rogers and Glover, who have all signed for Boro in what has turned out to be an extremely productive week.

The new signings could feature as Michael Carrick's side face Vitoria Guimaraes in a behind closed doors friendly today.

Strengthening the goalkeeper department was a priority for Boro this summer after the Manchester City return of Zack Steffen. Australian international Glover will compete with Dieng for the gloves, while Liam Roberts is still on the club's books.

Brynn, though, will join League One Leyton Orient on loan for the coming campaign. The 22-year-old signed a new Boro deal earlier this summer but having impressed in League Two with Swindon last term, a spell in the third tier is seen as the logical next step in his development.

Zach Hemming has already moved out on loan this summer, joining St Mirren.
