NEWCASTLE United's first game of the season against Aston Villa will be televised, with the Premier League confirming their opening weekend picks.
The Magpies will face Unai Emery's side at St James' Park on Saturday, August 12. The game will kick off at 5.30pm and will be live on Sky Sports.
As things stand, only the TV picks for the opening weekend have so far been confirmed.
Newly promoted Burnley will kick off the season against treble winners Manchester City live on Sky on Friday, August 11 (8pm).
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest will be on TNT Sports on the Saturday at 12.30pm.
Brentford vs Tottenham (2pm) and Chelsea vs Liverpool (4.30pm) will be live on Sky on Sunday, August 13 and Manchester United will play Wolves live on Sky on Monday, August 14 (8pm).
