NEWCASTLE United's fixture list for the coming Premier League campaign has been confirmed - with the Magpies facing an extremely testing start.
After an opening day home game against Aston Villa, Newcastle will face Manchester City, Liverpool and Brighton.
It's a tough opening but also a chance for Eddie Howe's side to lay down a marker.
Newcastle are at home to Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day and finish the season away at Brentford.
