Newcastle United return to action when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having moved to within one win of a Champions League place when they beat Brighton on Thursday, Newcastle return to St James’ Park on Monday as they take on Leicester in their final home game of the season.

The Magpies will be attempting to complete a league double over the Foxes, with first-half goals from Chris Wood, Miguel Almiron and Joelinton having secured a comprehensive 3-0 win at the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day.

Newcastle beat Leicester 2-1 on Tyneside last season, but the Foxes boasted a strong record at the Magpies’ home ground prior to that game. Leicester were on a six-game unbeaten run at St James’ Park before slipping up last season.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Monday’s game kicks off at 8pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No – Monday’s game is a complete sell-out, with tickets for all areas of the ground having been sold.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes, Monday’s game is being televised live by Sky Sports, and will be broadcast on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football channels.

As a result of the game being broadcast live in the UK, there will be no domestic streaming available.

Radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio Newcastle and talkSPORT, and Scott Wilson will be at St James’ Park for The Northern Echo producing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis that will be available on The Northern Echo’s website.

WHAT IS NEWCASTLE’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Joe Willock will miss Monday’s game and the final match of the season at Chelsea after suffering a hamstring injury in Thursday’s win over Brighton.

Joelinton also suffered a knock in the victory over the Seagulls, however it is hoped the Brazilian will be passed fit to line up against Leicester.

Sean Longstaff has not returned to training since injuring his foot in last month’s victory over Everton, and the midfielder is unlikely to feature in Monday’s game.

Similarly, Jacob Murphy is also not expected to be involved against Leicester after being forced to sit out Thursday’s Brighton win because of an injury issue.

Newcastle (probable, 4-3-3): Pope; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Anderson, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Almiron, Wilson, Isak.

HOW ARE LEICESTER SHAPING UP?

Leicester’s Premier League status in hanging by a thread as they prepare to travel to the North-East for Monday’s game.

The weekend began with the Foxes sitting in 19th position in the Premier League table, two points adrift of safety. That gap could have increased by the time they kick off against Newcastle, however, with 17th-placed Everton heading to Wolves on Saturday afternoon and 18th-placed Leeds United lining up against West Ham on Sunday.

Caglar Soyuncu, James Justin, Ryan Bertrand and Jannik Vestergaard are all expected to be unavailable to face Newcastle.

However, Kelechi Iheanacho and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could be available as Dean Smith’s side attempt to keep their survival hopes alive.

Leicester (probable, 4-2-3-1): Iversen; Pereira, Faes, Evans, Castagne; Ndidi, Mendy; Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes; Vardy.
