DARLINGTON lost a two-goal lead as they were pegged back to draw 2-2 at Alfreton.
The Quakers led through Jacob Hazel and Kaine Felix, but conceded two goals as they had to settle for a point.
Darlington opened the scoring after just four minutes when Ben Liddle set up Hazel, who turned neatly before firing home his 19th goal of the season.
Quakers doubled their lead before the 20-minute mark, with Felix stroking home the rebound after Hazel's initial shot had been saved by Alfreton goalkeeper George Willis.
Alfreton began their comeback by pulling back a goal on the stroke of half-time.
A long throw was hurled into the box, and beanpole striker Matt Rhead headed home.
Tommy Taylor saved from Rhead when Alfreton tried to repeat their opener at the start of the second half, but the Darlington goalkeeper was unable to prevent Yusifu Ceesay levelling the scores with 18 minutes remaining.
