Michael Carrick has named the same starting XI for the fourth successive game, as Middlesbrough look to sign off for the World Cup on a high at Norwich City.

It's no surprise to see Carrick stick with the same side, with the head coach delighted with recent displays against Hull City, Bristol City and Blackpool.

It means another start in the middle for Hayden Hackney and Chuba Akpom again partners Marcus Forss up-front. Riley McGree starts before linking up with the Australia squad next week.

The only change to the squad is Anfernee Dijksteel replacing Pharrell Willis on the bench.

Norwich boss Dean Smith has also named an unchanged side after their win against Rotherham last time out.

Boro: Steffen, Smith, Fry, Lenihan, Giles; Jones, Howson, Hackney, McGree; Akpom, Forss

Substitutes: Roberts, Crooks, Mowatt, McNair, Muniz, Willis, Hoppe

Norwich: Gunn, Aarons, Hanley, Gibson, McCallum, Sara, Hayden, McLean; Ramsey, Pukki, Sargent
