Tony Mowbray has made two changes to his Sunderland side at Huddersfield Town, with Patrick Roberts and Elliot Embleton in from the off at the John Smith's Stadium.
The duo replace Jack Clarke, who is suspended, and Dan Neil, who drops to the bench. Ellis Simms is again named among the substitutes.
Edouard Michut is missing from the squad because of a groin problem.
Huddersfield, meanwhile, have made four changes from the side that beat Millwall, three of them enforced.
Ollie Turton (injured), Sorba Thomas (suspended) and Tom Lees (ill) all miss out, as does Danny Ward, who drops to the bench. Brodie Spencer, Josh Ruffels, Duane Holmes and Jordan Rhodes come into the side.
