How did the players fare in Newcastle's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest?
NEWCASTLE (4-3-3):
7 Pope: Wasn’t required to make many saves, but commanded his area effectively and claimed a number of crosses
6 Trippier: Was defensively secure on the right-hand side, but his delivery from set-pieces and open play wasn’t up to its usual standard
8 Schar: Capped a fine display at both ends of the field with the sensational long-range strike that opened the scoring
8 Burn: Another cool and composed display, in which he dealt with the pace and trickery of Johnson without any scares
7 Targett: Helped keep Johnson under control and got forward to provide attacking support whenever possible
8 GUIMARAES: Was at the heart of most of Newcastle’s best moves, passing and probing from the heart of midfield
7 Willock: Made a number of dangerous breaks into the 18-yard box and tested Henderson with a couple of decent strikes
7 Joelinton: An energetic and enterprising display from the Brazilian – set up Wilson’s goal with a low cross from the left-hand side
6 Almiron: Was a lively presence all afternoon, even if he wasted a couple of decent positions with poor balls into the middle
7 Wilson: Had been kept extremely quiet for almost 80 minutes, but burst into life with a fantastic flicked finish
7 Saint-Maximin: Tested the Forest defence with his running and dribbling, and fired a couple of decent efforts at Henderson
