NEWCASTLE UNITED continue their pre-season preparations on Tuesday evening when they take on Portuguese giants Benfica.

Here are the details of the game - and how you can watch it.

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Tuesday's game is being staged at Benfica's home ground, the historic Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.

It will be the second time that Newcastle have played in the stadium, following a 3-1 defeat in the first leg of the UEFA Cup quarter-finals in 2013.

Papiss Cisse scored for the Magpies, who were knocked out when the second leg at St James' Park finished in a 1-1 draw.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

The game kicks off at 8pm, with Portuguese time currently the same as BST.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

There is no public sale for the Newcastle United section of the ground for tomorrow's game.

For any Newcastle fans travelling to Portugal who have already bought tickets for the game, the club provided the following information for entry to the stadium:

Entry at Benfica can be either by mobile (PDF held on telephone and scanned at the turnstiles) or as a print at home document, which must be printed to 100 per cent in size.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

It initially appeared as though there would be no TV coverage or streaming of the game in the UK, but Premier Sports have stepped in to provide coverage.

The game is now being screened live on Sky channel 412, Virgin channel 551, the Premier Player and via Amazon Prime.

Customers can subscribe from £9.99 from Premier Sports' subscription site.

Unlike with Newcastle's two pre-season matches in Austria, there will be no free live streaming on the club's official website or YouTube channel.

WHAT MIGHT NEWCASTLE'S SIDE BE?

With the start of the new Premier League season now less than a fortnight away, Eddie Howe is expected to name a strong Newcastle side in Lisbon.

Having travelled to Portugal at the end of last week, Howe split his squad for two friendly matches against teams from Burnley at the weekend.

The 24 players involved in those training-ground games were: Pope, Darlow, Trippier, Krafth, Targett, Dummett, Botman, Burn, Lascelles, Shelvey, Guimaraes, Joelinton, Willock, J.Murphy, S.Longstaff, Fraser, Almiron, Ritchie, Saint-Maximin, Wilson, Anderson, M.Longstaff, Bondswell, Munoz.

Fabian Schar was not involved, having suffered an injury in Newcastle's friendly with Mainz in Austria, with Martin Dubravka, Jamal Lewis and Federico Fernandez also not seeing any action at the weekend.

HOW ARE BENFICA SHAPING UP?

Benfica finished third in the Portuguese top-flight last season, and have been in good form this summer.

They beat Championship side Reading 2-0 in a training game at St George's Park, before returning to Portugal to lift the Algarve Cup thanks to a 3-0 win over Nice and a 5-1 thrashing of Fulham.

Their most recent pre-season outing came last Friday, when they beat Spanish La Liga side Girona 4-2 in Switzerland.

Managed by Roger Schmidt, the Benfica squad features former Premier League defenders Jan Vertonghen and Nicolas Otamendi as well as ex-Spurs and QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt.
