MIDDLESBROUGH defender Grant Hall has sealed a loan move to fellow Championship side Rotherham United.
The 30-year-old has effectively played his final game for the club with his contract coming to an end next summer on Teesside.
Hall has made 28 appearances for Boro since signing in the summer of 2020 under Neil Warnock and scored two goals. He was a mainstay in the Boro defence in his first season but did not play a single minute of football under Chris Wilder since he took over last November.
The centre back becomes the sixth summer departure following in the footsteps of Djed Spence, Nathan Wood, Martin Payero, Joe Lumley, Toyosi Olusanya and Dejan Stojanovic.
He will be with the Millers on a season long loan and joins up with the squad after their promotion from League One last season.
