MIDDLESBROUGH have announced their new squad numbers of the 2022-23 season.
Manchester City loanee Zack Steffen takes over the number one jersey, highlighting his status as the club's new number one shot-stopper, with fellow summer signings Ryan Giles and Darragh Lenihan being handed the number three and 26 shirts respectively. Second-choice goalkeeper Liam Roberts takes number 23.
Australian midfielder Riley McGree has changed to number eight, while Isaiah Jones will now wear number two. Fellow defender Anfernee Dijksteel switches to number 15.
Tellingly, given Boro's ongoing search for new forwards, the number nine, ten and 11 shirts are all currently vacant.
