ALEX NEIL has changed all 11 of his players for Sunderland’s latest pre-season friendly at Bradford City this evening.

None of the players that started Saturday’s 2-0 win over Dundee United are named in the starting line-up at Valley Parade, although a number could be involved from the substitutes’ bench at some stage.

Jacob Carney starts in goal, and with Sunderland not having signed a goalkeeper this summer, the youngster will have a chance to stake a claim to be Anthony Patterson’s deputy this season.

Aji Alese starts at centre-half after joining the Black Cats from West Ham at the end of last week, with the youngster set to play alongside Danny Batth.

Jay Matete, Carl Winchester and Luke O’Nien will fill the midfield positions, with Elliot Embleton and Jack Diamond set to play in wide-attacking roles.

With Sunderland’s attempts to bring in a new forward having come to nothing so far this summer, Jack Clarke will start as a makeshift centre-forward with Ross Stewart rested on the bench.

SUNDERLAND (4-3-3): Carney; Gooch, Batth, Alese, Taylor; Winchester, Matete, O’Nien; Embleton, Clarke, Diamond.

Subs: Patterson, Richardson, Neil, Stewart, Wright, Evans, Hume, Cirkin, Pritchard, Roberts, Ballard, Dajaku, Sohna.
