BORO take on Braga in a pre-season friendly tonight in Portugal before they head back to the UK tomorrow.

Where is the game taking place?

The game is taking place in Portugal at the Municipal de Lagos which is the home stadium of local side Esperanca de Lagos.

What time is kick-off?

The game will get underway at 7pm BST this evening.

Conditions are expected to be warm this evening but it will be cooler due to evening time kick-off.

Can you watch the game?

Unfortunately not. There are no streaming services provided by either Boro or Braga.

However, there will be highlights of the game published by Boro.

What might Boro’s side be?

Chris Wilder has experimented with his side during their friendlies against Bishop Auckland and York City using a number of youngsters but given the opposition, he may well be tempted to use more senior players as they prepare for the season.

However, most players are expected to get a game this evening with several youngsters also travelling out with the squad to Portugal.

What is the opposition like?

Managed by Artur Jorge, Braga finished 4th in the Portuguese top division and won the Taca de Portugal, one of their domestic cup competitions.

Last season, they made it through to the semi finals of the Europa League where they were knocked out by Scottish side Rangers who went on to lose the final.

They made it to the Europa League final in 2011 where it was an all Portuguese final against Porto. They lost 1-0 on the evening with Radamel Falcao scoring the only goal of the game.
