Former Darlington and York City manager Billy McEwan has died at the age of 70.
The Scot was appointed at Feethams in the summer of 1992 after Darlington were relegated the previous season.
Darlington finished 15th in his sole full season in charge, with McEwan’s tenure lasting until midway through ’92-93 when he was replaced by Alan Murray.
He was York manager February 2005 until November 2008.
McEwan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2014.
