HARTLEPOOL United have managed to get the loan signing of Burton Albion midfielder Bryn Morris over the line in the last hour of the January transfer window.
Pools have secured the 25-year-old on a deal until the end of the season as he becomes the club’s seventh January signing.
Morris came through the youth ranks at Middlesbrough where he had loan spells at Burton Albion, Coventry City, York City and Walsall before completing a permanent move to Shrewsbury Town in 2017. He has since gone on to play for Wycombe Wanderers, Portsmouth, Northampton before joining for his second spell on a permanent deal in the summer.
He’s played 111 leagues during the course of his career scoring five goals.
Morris, who plays in centre-mid but can also play at the back, comes in as an ideal replacement for Luke Hendrie, who’s contract was cancelled earlier today to pave the way for a move to Bradford City.
The midfielder was born in Hartlepool and returns to his home town for his first ever spell with the club. He joins Marcus Carver, Jake Hull, Isaac Fletcher, Omar Bogle, Joe White and Nicholas Bilokapic in coming to the club this month.
