“It’s been a frustrating two weeks.
“I’ve made plenty of phone calls. I know we need bodies in. We are short certainly at this minute in time.
“We thought we had one lad through the door on Thursday where everything was agreed. The forms, contract, was all sorted and then their club pulled the plug on it Friday morning which was very disappointing.
“Then there was another lad who didn’t want to come despite not being despite not being in the 16 for his club side so that was disappointing.
“We’ve had bids for a couple of players as well which have been rejected so we’ll have to revisit that.
“We’re hoping James Curtis will be back. He did a lot of running today and he’s obviously got a better chance of Tuesday than he did today (Saturday).
“John (Lufudu) will be better for the 15 minutes he had today. He wasn’t 100% but he’s come on, he’s done a job and he’ll be better for the 15 minutes.
