THIS picture shows a family in Cockfield, County Durham preparing for the England v Italy Euros game, which kicks off in a couple of hours.

David Britton and his son and daughter Michael and Chloe are all football mad and designed to decorate the outside of their home with inflatables and England flags.

Mr Britton, owns a fish and chip shop in Evenwood.

He was the previous owner of the Middle House pub in Cockfield before giving it over to new owners during the pandemic.

He said: "I bought the inflatables for the pub, when we were in the pub. The Euros was supposed to be on the year before last, so we seen them for sale and bought them for the pub.

"We're a big football family anyway. We're Newcastle United supporters, so we're football daft anyway in this house.

"There's been one or two people taking photos so I'm sure we'll see them on Facebook at sometime today.

"I think we'll do alright, I think we'll win tonight. It'll be tough but I think we'll come through it.

"Come on England!"
