PAUL Collingwood has been passed fit to lead England in tomorrow's one-day match against Sri Lanka despite suffering bruising to the bone in his right shoulder.
The Durham all-rounder resumed practice with the squad today as the tourists set their sights on claiming their first major one-day series win on the sub-continent for 20 years.
Collingwood had a precautionary scan on his shoulder yesterday after injuring it when attempting to take a return catch off Mahela Jayawardene in the opening match of the series last Monday.
However, his appearance in today's training session at the Premadasa Stadium calmed any fears over his availability for the remaining two one-day internationals.
