TONY PULIS has made two changes to the Middlesbrough team to face managerless Sheffield Wednesday at the Riverside Stadium this afternoon.

The Boro boss has replaced the injured Ryan Shotton with Paddy McNair, who is getting another chance at right wing-back by the looks of the line-up.

Stewart Downing is the second change for Middlesbrough and he replaces George Saville after the Saturday victory at Reading which lifted them back up to fourth.

Sheffield Wednesday are looking to make it two wins from two under the caretaker management of Lee Bullen following the departure of Jos Luhukay last week. Former Sunderland and Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce is the leading contender for the job.
