Striker Kenwyne Jones has gone on strike at Southampton.
The 22-year-old, who was the subject of a two rejected bids from Derby, the latest of £5m, has told Saints boss George Burley he wants a move out of St Mary's.
Southampton have confirmed the Trinidad and Tobago international - who has also been linked with a move to Sunderland - has handed in a written transfer request and refused to play in today's home fixture with Stoke.
A clearly unhappy Burley told the club's official website, www.saintsfc.co.uk: ''Kenwyne spoke to me on Tuesday and said he did not want to play against Stoke.
''He confirmed that to me again on Friday morning and I have to admit I am very disappointed by that.''
Derby are also tracking Saints' Jhon Viafara.
