Wins by New Marske, Annfield Plain and Cleator Moor Celtic meant that all three remained at the top of the league. It needed a strong second half display by New Marske to keep their record intact after opponents Ashbrooke Belford House had drawn level by the interval.
Sean Mackin put Marske ahead then Martin Deacon netted twice for Ashbrooke before Nicky Ward levelled with a penalty. After the interval further goals from Ward and Mackin enabled New Marske to take all three points.
Harton and Westoe felt the full force of Cleator Moor Celtic when the Cumbrians hit the net six times.
In an even first half neither side were able to capitalise, but then all seven goals arrived in a deluge. Gareth Evans, Karl Fillingham (2), Dean Edwards, Leigh Dunn and Paul Nicholson netted for the winners with Harton and Westoe's lone goal coming from Karl McMann after 58 minutes.
Annfield Plain remained at the top thanks to a first half strike from Barry Lindoe. He scored the only goal of the game after 25 minutes to give his side their victory against East Durham United.
Teesside Athletic successfully travelled to Silksworth and scored twice in each half. Goals from Kesterton, Young, Mitchell and Wilson provided a welcome first win.
Boldon CA dominated their fixture with Coxhoe Athletic, winning 5-1. Michael Meek and Gavin Teasdale netted before the break. Although Neil Charlton reduced the arrears for Coxhoe further goals from Teasdale and David Hopper (2) left the result in little doubt.
Hartlepool registered their first win to date, beating Cleadon SC 3-1. Philip Ross shot into an empty net after 19 minutes to give 'Pool a half-time lead. He then added a second from the penalty spot before Shaun Ross made it 3-0. Although Darren Palmer scored with a drive that entered the net via a post it was not sufficient to get Cleadon back into the game.
Goals from Jarrow's Keith Hallway and Neil Archbold were not sufficient to prevent Guisborough Black Swan from picking up their first win 3-2.
Ryhope CW and Whitehaven shared four goals. However, the latter moved into a two goal lead through Wayne Collins and John Robson.
It took a late Ryhope comeback to secure a draw when David Baker scored twice in the final ten minutes.
Willington only secured their 1-0 victory against Windscale in the last minute of the match.
A Carl Thompson pass to Steven Taylor was helped on to Andrew Howard who rounded the keeper to give his side three points.
