YORK golfer Simon Dyson finished the US PGA with an outstanding final round 64 - just one shot off the course record equalled by Tiger Woods on Friday.
Dyson was the clubhouse leader at 7.45pm on Sunday night with level par total of 280 - still seven shots off Tiger Woods who still hadn't teed off by the time Dyson had finished.
Dyson, of the Malton & Norton club, started his round with four birdies in the first six holes and only dropped one shot at the tenth.
He rallied straight after with birdies at the 11th, and also at the 13th and 18th.
