THE Red Line Racing team from Stockton-on-Tees has been named RAC team of the weekend for the third time for their performances at the 13th and 14th rounds of the 2007 Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Snetterton.
Red Line Racing collected the award, courtesy of RAC - a key partner of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, after recording an impressive set of results on the Norfolk circuit.
Tim Harvey scored an impressive double victory at Snetterton, winning a tight race on Saturday, where only seconds separated the top five cars, even at the end of the race. Sunday brought a thrilling battle against Sam Hancock of Motorbase Performance, ending in triumph for Harvey, who also scooped the RAC Driver of the Weekend for his efforts.
Twenty-one-year-old James Sutton also turned in solid performances in the Pro division, finishing fifth in both races, while Nigel Rice carries on his reign at the top of the Pro-am division after two wins at Snetterton. Maxi Jazz, Red Line Racing's other Pro-am racer managed to combine a weekend's racing with performing with Faithless at Global Gathering, travelling between venues by helicopter.

RAC recognise driving excellence at every round of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB by presenting the RAC Team of the Weekend Award' and RAC Driver of the Weekend Award', along with the RAC Most Improved Driver of the Year Award' at the end of the season.
The Porsche Carrera Cup GB is the UK's premier single-manufacturer sports car competition, featuring 911 GT3 Cup Cars all built to exactly the same race specification.
