ENGLAND's attempts to polish off the West Indies at Headingley have been thwarted by rain for the second morning in succession.
Only four overs were possible before the heavens opened and, while Liam Plunkett struck to have opener Chris Gayle caught behind for 13, England still need to claim six more wickets to wrap up victory in the second Test.
The West Indies will resume on 31-3 if conditions improve this afternoon.
