MIDDLESBROUGH have completed their third signing of transfer deadline day with the capture of Belgian youngster Julien De Sart.
De Sart, who is a defensive midfielder, has signed a three-and-a-half year contract after leaving Standard Liege.
The 21-year-old, who has moved for an undisclosed fee, rose through the youth ranks at Liege and has made 66 appearances for the Belgian side since making his debut in 2013.
He has also represented Belgium at every level from Under-16s to Under-21s, but is yet to be capped for the senior squad.
Subject to receiving the necessary clearance, he should be available for Saturday's home game with Blackburn Rovers.
Meanwhile, Boro have cut short Fernando Amorebieta's loan deal at the Riverside, with the Spanish centre-half having returned to his parent club Fulham.
