Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes compatriot Ricardo Carvalho has only a ''one per cent'' chance of lining up in the Blues defence for the FA Cup final.

Chelsea met Manchester United in a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge last night which could hardly be called a dress rehearsal for the final with so many second-string players on view for both sides.

Chelsea had the better chances, with Shaun Wright-Phillips denied by a solid block from Tomasz Kuszczak early in the first half and Kieran Lee clearing a Ben Sahar shot off the line late on.

But with the final to come in just over a week Carvalho's knee injury looks like it will keep him out.

Mourinho said: ''I'm not confident, no. I won't rule him out, but if you ask me if I'm confident, I'm not confident. As a percentage? One per cent.''

Scott Sinclair, who made his first start for Chelsea must undergo surgery after breaking a metatarsal bone in a challenge with Wes Brown.

''He has done well but surgery is waiting for him, he has a broken metatarsal,'' Mourinho added.

''I wanted to give him more (playing time) against Everton (on the final day of the Premiership season)."
