Spennymoor Town climbed a place to eighth, though they were made to work hard for a 3-2 win over fellow promotion-chasers Droylsden.
It was 2-0 to Moors by the third 33rd minute at the Brewery Field after goals by Nathan Fisher and Andrew Stephenson.
Droylsden scored a penalty early in the second half, before Kallum Griffiths restored the two-goal advantage when he added the third for Moors.
The visitors rallied and again pulled one back, making it 3-2, but Spennymoor hung on to complete a fine week having defeated Leek Town in an FA Trophy replay in midweek.
