Spennymoor manager Jason Ainsley says he might not make many changes for the visit of Droylsden to the Brewery Field tomorrow.
Ainsley took a depleted squad with him to Leek Town in midweek, and came away with an excellent 1-0 result to put them into the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy.
“The lads who came into the team did very well, how can I leave them out after that performance/” he said.
“We deserved to win and kept a clean sheet, what more can I ask for? We’ve had problems keeping clean sheets this season.
“It was a great win for everyone concerned, and keeps our interest going in a national competition.
“We’ve got two important league games now before the next tie against Chasetown, and we’ll be going into them full of confidence.”
Leading scorer Liam Henderson will probably be missing today because of an ankle injury, while defender Paul Johnson will have a fitness test on an ankle injury. If Johnson is fit, then Joe Tait could play in midfield as he did in midweek.
Midfielder Lewis Dodds, defender Stephen Capper and striker Gavin Cogdon are all added to today’s squad.
Moors have been drawn away to Brighouse Town in the second round of the Doodson Sports League Cup on Tuesday December 2nd. Whitby are at home to Sheffield the following night, December 3rd.
