Sunderland manager Gustavo Poyet has successfully arranged a further friendly before the Premier League season.
Poyet has been looking for an extra game to fill the vacant weekend on August 9, which is that start of the new Football League campaign.
And Sunderland have confirmed they will round-off their preparations with a game against Italian side Udinese.
The Black Cats will face the Serie A club on Saturday, August 9 at Heritage Park, Bishop Auckland, kick-off 3pm
Tickets for the game will be priced at £15 for adults and £5 for over 65s and under 16s, with purchase details to be confirmed soon.
Sunderland are due to face CD Nacional in Portugal tonight as part of a three match trip to the Algarve.
Poyet hopes to have the majority of transfer dealings done before the game with Real Betis at Bishop a week tomorrow.
The idea will be to give new signings a run-out in the dates with Betis and Udinese before starting the season at West Brom on August 16.
