Middlesbrough
ANOTHER transfer window, another Jelle Vossen story.
A bit like Sunderland being linked with Robbie Keane constantly over the years or Jermain Defoe possibly heading to Newcastle United, Mr Vossen has been on Middlesbrough's radar for the last two years.
Will the Genk striker actually end up at Boro this time? Or will it just be another case of what might have been.
A few transfer windows have gone by when Vossen's name has cropped up, with former Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray known to have wanted to get something done.
Last summer saw apparent interest from Cardiff City end Middlesbrough's chances when suddenly he was rated in the £7m bracket. In the end he stayed put and Middlesbrough's interest has remained.
Given that long-standing targets such as Danny Graham and Adam Le Fondre's names have been discussed already this summer, clearly Middlesbrough still have old targets in mind and Vossen is one man they would really like to lead the line.
Will it happen? The Belgium international is interested in talking about it, but such a move is a complicated financial one, like before. Maybe.

A deal not governed by money is the one that could see Kenneth Omeruo head for the Riverside - again.
The problem facing Aitor Karanka is that he must ensure his old pal Jose Mourinho persuades Omeruo to spend another season on Teesside. Hull City's emergence as rivals for his signature could make it difficult, after all they can offer Premier League football.
And say what you like about Steve Bruce (Sunderland fans often do), he loves a transfer deal and can often pull loans off when many don't expect him to. I'd still facny Omeruo going back to Middlesbrough after the World Cup, but the Nigerian could be tempted by top-flight football.

Sunderland
The Northern Echo reports this morning that Sunderland sent scouts up to Scotland over the weekend to watch a Hearts friendly.
As well as showing an interest in Hearts' teenage defender Jordan McGhee, interesting the likes of Juventus among others, the Black Cats also kept an eye on Dinamo Bucharest's winger Dorin Rotariu.
He only played the second half, so the chances are they will need to see more from him if they are to push through a deal. If they did sign him he would join compatriot Costel Pantilimon, who moved from Manchester City this summer.
Transfer likelihood rating: 4/10
SPEAKING of Sunderland, Keiren Westwood has found himself a new club. Despite his belief that he should be a Premier League No 1, the former Coventry and Carlisle shot-stopper has had to drop down to the Championship.
Westwood, released by Sunderland after injury ruined last season for him, has signed a two-year deal with Sheffield Wednesday, despite interest in him from Blackburn and Brighton.
Transfer likelihood rating: 10/10
Newcastle
THERE has been an exciting, for Newcastle fans anyway, development in Arsenal's pursuit of Mathieu Debuchy. That deal will almost certainly take place, but discussions have taken on a slightly different twist.
As well as Arsenal being happy to loan out Carl Jenkinson, it would see the Costa Rican World Cup forward Joel Campbell has emerged as a possible makeweight in the deal. Campbell is an exciting forward and full of promise, which is exactly what Alan Pardew craves.
Make no mistake about it, Debuchy will be joining Arsenal anyway, but if Newcastle can pull off a deal for Campbell as part of the exchange then that would seriously soften the blow. He might be unlikely to play regularly for the Gunners but he stands every chance of holding down a shirt at St James' Park.
Transfer likelihood rating: 7/10
