ADIL Rashid continued his stunning run of form with a third hundred in three LV= County Championship matches.
Yorkshire’s number six set his side on their way to 450-5 declared against Somerset at Taunton this morning, which enabled his bowlers 20 minutes of bowling before lunch on day three.
Marcus Trescothick and Arul Suppiah will resume this afternoon with their side’s first-innings score on 15-0 from six overs.
Rashid has now scored LV= County Championship centuries against Somerset at home and away as well as Warwickshire at Edgbaston, with this one a 120-ball 103 not out, including 14 fours.
He added an unbroken 144 in 31 overs for the sixth wicket with Andrew Hodd, who posted his second fifty Yorkshire - 68 not out off 99 balls. Hodd was dropped twice at first slip by Trescothick off Steve Kirby on 41 and 50.
The pair also secured Yorkshire’s fifth batting bonus point for reaching 400 in 110 overs with just one ball to spare this morning having started at 341-5 from 95.
