TITUS Bramble has confirmed he will leave Sunderland when his contract expires at the end of next month.
The centre-half has not been offered a new deal at the Stadium of Light, and provided confirmation of his impending departure on Twitter.
Bramble tweeted: "I've had a great three years and would like to thank every SAFC fan for the support they have shown.
"The NE is a special place to play and will always be close to my heart. I wish the club and my teammates all the best for the future."
Bramble, who has been linked with a possible move to the United States, joined Sunderland in a £1m move from Wigan in July 2010 and has made 51 appearances in a red-and-a-white shirt.
There were occasional flashes of the form that once made him one of the most promising defenders in the country, but his performances were blighted by regular errors and off-field controversies continued to dog the former Newcastle defender throughout his second spell in the North-East.
