This afternoon's jumps fixture at Sedgefield goes ahead after plans for an early-morning inspection were scrapped.
Although the going is heavy, there was no frost or snow overnight.
Clerk of the course Phil Tuck said: "It's good news. There is no frost or snow, and it looks like we are not going to get any either.''
Racing starts at 2.20pm.
