VURNON Anita, Steven Taylor and Papiss Cisse have all been promoted into Newcastle United's starting line-up for today's game at Liverpool.
The trio were all on the bench as the Magpies beat West Brom last weekend, but Alan Pardew has opted to make changes as he attempts to address his side's dreadful recent record at Anfield.
The majority of Anita's appearances this season have come in midfield, but the Dutchman will replace Danny Simpson at right-back this afternoon.
Taylor replaces Mike Williamson at the heart of the back four, while Cisse is preferred to Shola Ameobi in attack after scoring his first Premier League goal of the season in fortuitous circumstances last weekend.
Cisse will partner Demba Ba in attack after his fellow Senegal striker shook off a shin injury sustained against the Baggies.
