LEE CATTERMOLE and Adam Johnson will face their old club for the first time in a Sunderland shirt as Middlesbrough visit the Stadium of Light for the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

Cattermole and Johnson line up for the Black Cats up against former Sunderland midfielder Grant Leadbitter, who returns to Wearside for the first time since he left three years ago.

Middlesbrough have named their strongest side possible, with Jonathan Woodgate still sidelined through injury and Josh McEachran ineligible for tonight's fixture. On-loan Ishmael Miller, however, can play in cup games for Boro and is included alongside Scott McDonald, who scored two goals against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

For Sunderland, Martin O'Neill hands a start to Keiren Westwood in goal, while Danny Rose does not feature, with Jack Colback slottting into left-back in his absence.
