RECENTLY The Northern Echo published a photograph of a group of Muslim women protesting against the extradition of suspected terrorists, including the radical cleric Abu Hamza, to the US (Echo, Oct 6).
Everyone has the right to demonstrate but some of these placards urged Muslims to rise up.
Rise up against whom exactly? Rise up against the police, the Government or the British people.
The laws of this country are there for everyone to obey.
There should be no exceptons.
If anyone thinks they cannot live with these laws then perhaps it would be in their best interests to move to another country – one where their views and protests would be looked upon more favourably.
