THIS charming picture could have been taken 50 years ago.
It was actually taken earlier this month when The Great Marquess, a steam locomotive built in Darlington 74 years ago, returned to the town.
The loco was one of the star turns at the town’s Head of Steam railway museum.
It was designed by the famous steam engineer Nigel Gresley to tackle the steep inclines of the West Highland Line to Mallaig via Fort William.
The picture was taken by reader Colin Bainbridge using a Panasonic TZ7 camera.
