TALIBAN terrorists make forays into Afghanistan to kill and maim NATO troops by way of sniper attacks and roadside bombs.

Summary executions of the civilian population are also made before the Taliban flee back to hide behind the civilian population of North Pakistan and then await the expected retaliatory drone strikes. A similar tactic is used by Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorists against Israel.

In north Pakistan over the past five years 109 tribal elders have been murdered for daring to speak against the Taliban.

Beheadings of innocent civilians take place on a daily basis. All educational facilities have been destroyed and the Taliban has recently re-iterated its vow to kill any 15-year-old child who wishes to go to school.

The Taliban also kidnap children for the sake of jihad and use them as suicide bombers.

Hussain Nadim, a leading political science and international relations expert based in Islamabad, made an interesting observation.

Demonstrations against drone strikes do not happen in north Pakistan but in unrelated provinces that don’t actually understand the situation of civilians in the region. The only demonstrations in north Pakistan are for help to rid the region of the Taliban.
