I AM frustrated and amazed at just how poor the traffic flow through Darlington really is.
Now working in Darlington, after many years of working in Stockton, I am dumbfounded to find that I could get to Stockton from my Whinfield home quicker than I can reach our town centre or anywhere in Darlington at rush hour.
It’s not just rush hour, though.
Pick any weekday mid-morning or mid-afternoon and you find the central ring road bumper-tobumper.
Where is everyone going?
Perhaps we can all make an effort to drive with more forethought and consideration to keep traffic flowing.
At the moment, Darlington is not moving forwards.
