THE film Life of Brian did not cost the lives of anyone or provoke the burning of flags or buildings.

The people who made the film received no death threats.

Yet when Muslims preach hatred for the West or against our police or armed forces nothing is done to them.

A stupid film about Islam and a book by Salman Rushdie caused Muslims to riot. They have killed, burnt embassies and flags and also told us and the Americans to get out of Islamic countries.

Yet in this country they are given rights they refuse to give other faiths in Islamic countries.

If they want respect they should give respect to others.

God gives us freedom to follow the path of our choice.

If they respect the Jews, Christians and other faiths, they will receive respect in return.

If Muslims don’t like the West and our beliefs they have a choice – go and live in an Islamic country.

Don’t force your ways on to us, we don’t want it.

Instead why don’t we learn to live in peace and give equal rights to all faiths in all countries before it is too late.
