HOW long will it be before the Government will realise that the UK cannot go on giving money hand over fist to keep the European ideal afloat?
Only one week after our inept Chancellor gave £10bn to the IMF (under the guise of a loan, which will never be repaid), Jose Mannuel Barroso, the president of the European Commission, asks for our budget contribution to be raised by 6.5 per cent. This is all on top of the £50m per day we contribute to the European dream.
With our ridiculous contributions to overseas aid and our continual outpouring to Europe, this country will never begin to recover financially.
The single currency was a dream doomed to failure from the outset. It fell, yet again, to the UK to bail out the wanton spending of European socialists.
David Cameron is prepared to hold a referendum on the future of the House of Lords, an issue which will impact very little on life in the UK, yet he refuses to hold the promised referendum on our continued membership on the EU. It is the responsibility of every voter who cares to seek such a referendum through every available means.
