REGARDING Matt Westcott’s road test of the Mazda MX5 (Echo, Dec 2).
My love affair with my Mazda MX5 began in 1991, with a white Harvard limited edition model that had pop-up headlights, and is still ongoing.
This year, with mounting excitement, I bought my fourth MX5.
The sporting experience in all of them has been wonderful and I am looking forward to many more years of “zoom, zoom”.
At nearly 78, I think I deserve true perfection (and so do you).
In fact, during 20 years of exhilarating driving I have enjoyed continuous reliability.
Not once have my cars had problems.
Thank you for your report and if I am in Darlington I will zoom in on you.
Margaret King, Middlesbrough.
