IT is my understanding that an automatic gearbox in a bus is supposed to make life easier for both the driver and his passengers.
The average journey resembles a trip in a cocktail shaker, with rapid braking and acceleration.
I no longer buy full cream milk in town, as I like my butter with a bit of salt in it.
I realise that timetables must be adhered to but surely the comfort of the long suffering public should deserve some consideration?
