I AM sick and tired of hearing the councillors of Bishop Auckland going on about redevelopment at St Helens and the new shopping outlet to be built on the site of the derelict Focus DIY store.
The plans have been passed and rightly so. So, time to let it go.
The area is big enough for both areas to do well.
I go down to Bishop three days a week at least. I would love to see more shops, but the problem to me is they have let too many charity shops take over and that prevents good shops from moving in.
Time to stop going on and get on with improving the town, so both areas do well. Then we won’t have to go out of town to shop for special occasions.
Mr Brown, St Helens, Bishop Auckland.
