MY wife and I decided to watch a comedian by the name of Michael McIntyre. It was a sellout show, so we thought it should be very funny.
From the moment this character bounced onto the stage, shouting and bawling and waving his arms and legs about, unable to keep still, we know that we had made a mistake.
This “act” became very lewd with his snooker routine and we just couldn’t see what everyone was laughing at. However, we decided to stick with it for a further ten minutes in case we were missing something, but to no avail.
We thought he was about as funny as an open grave, but without the charm.
The BBC must be getting really desperate to have to repeat such disgusting tripe.
Where have all the really funny comics gone?
I rest my case.
D Harrison, Darlington.
