AT long last America has concluded that China is a threat to the world through its growing economic might. It is absolutely amazing that it has taken so
long for this big penny to drop.
Some 15 years ago, when the West started piling billions upon billions into China because of
its vast cheap workforce, our institution saw this future threat for what it really was.
China knew 40 years ago that the wars of the 21st Century would not be military, but economic.
We have to adopt a global mechanism that counterbalances this ever-increasing economic might in the East.
If not, your son, daughter or grandchild will be working at some time in the future in some subservient way or another for the Chinese.
European economic interests are now starting
to be absorbed by China. Added to this China is buying up African mineral resources and economic commodities on an unprecedented scale.
With almost $4 trillion in reserves, it is a mystery why our astute politicians have taken so long to see what was happening.
